Joint Expertise. Shared Innovation.
Established in 2026, the Alpine Drone Consortium (ADC) is a Swiss association based in Altdorf (UR) bringing together industry, research institutions, public authorities and policymakers.
ADC aims to create the missing link between laboratory testing and real operational deployment by offering controlled flight zones under real-world conditions. We build a unique drone ecosystem that transforms real alpine environments into secure, scalable innovation spaces.
Environmental monitoring, natural hazards, biodiversity, climate and infrastructure data — enabling evidence-based decisions across the Alpine region.
Search & rescue, medical supply and goods transport to remote locations, energy grids, transport corridors, disaster response and more.
Drone security, counter-drone systems and safety-critical operations — tested under real alpine conditions.
Faster validation & deployment through access to controlled flight zones and real-world alpine test conditions.
Collaboration and impact — applied research and testing under real-world alpine conditions in partnership with industry and authorities.
Controlled, low-risk trials for authorities and innovation & societal benefit for Alpine regions — enabling cross-cantonal coordination.
ADC supports industrial and solution implementation, and enables applied research and testing under real-world alpine conditions. Be part of the ecosystem.
"A landmark start: industry, research and regulation jointly laid the foundation for the future of alpine drone applications."
